Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world. However, those riches came about through luck, as they were extremely poor before they found oil.
Since making this find, Qatar has been making investments, selling the oil, and doing various other things to increase its wealth. But one thing has been on Qatar's (as well as many other Arab countries') to-do list. That is to destroy Israel.
Israel is a huge embarrassment to the Arab world, as all the Arab countries surrounding the Jewish state have tried countless times and failed to destroy it.
Some, like Egypt, have seemingly gotten the memo and have given up on trying to destroy the small state and have decided to focus on more important things like their own country, while others, like Gaza, are putting all their time and effort into destroying Israel and are failing.
Yet other countries like Qatar are scheming, playing it smartly, and waiting for the right moment to strike.
The real question is why Qatar would care if Israel exists or not. It’s not Qatar's land, and Israel doesn’t negatively affect their business, either. The answer is that some of their religious traditions say that Israel is a holy land for Muslims and needs to belong to Muslims, whatever it takes.
Qatar is a religious country, and they have been trying to follow these traditions. Since these traditions don’t have a time limit, they can decide how long they want their operation on destroying Israel to take.
So far, it seems like Qatar is quite peaceful, but this is incorrect for several reasons. First, Qatar is putting billions of dollars into Ivy League schools across the world, so that Qatar can have a say in who is hired and what is taught. As we know, many of these Ivy League schools are preaching Jewish hate.
Second, Qatar is harbouring many Hamas leaders and is giving them protection from Israel. Supporting a terror group clearly shows Qatar's motivations, and it also shows they want Israel destroyed.
Third, Qatar is flattering Trump with gifts and is trying to get him to side against Israel. Thankfully, Trump hasn’t gone against Israel, but they’re still trying. Fourth, Qatar has put its money into investing in countless countries to have those countries rely on it, which gives Qatar leverage over them.
All of these actions by Qatar are an indirect attack on Israel, in a slow but successful campaign to get Israel globally hated and destroyed. Even though we may not see it, Qatar is at this moment trying to bring Israel down. We cannot be deceived by their false statements that communicate their false intentions; we must look past that and see what Qatar really is.
